Not if it is built properly. We start from a template because that is how Squarespace works, then rework typography, spacing, colour and section layout, and add custom CSS where the built-in controls run out. The result should not be recognisable as the template it started from.
Yes, and that is usually the reason to choose Squarespace. We build within the editor rather than around it, so pages stay editable, and we hand over with training so your team can add content without breaking the layout.
Yes. Squarespace Commerce handles a modest catalogue well. Once you are managing large inventory, complex variants, subscriptions or serious conversion optimisation, Shopify is the better platform and we will tell you so rather than sell you the wrong build.
Yes. Redesigns are a large share of this work. We can rebuild the design on your current site, keeping your content and URLs intact so search rankings are not disturbed.
It depends on page count and how much custom design work is involved, so we quote per project. You get a fixed price before anything starts. Squarespace hosting and your subscription are paid to Squarespace directly and are separate from our fee.
